[00:00:00] Speaker A: Foreign. [00:00:08] Speaker B: Welcome to the Naked Satanist. The show consists views from a left leaning libertarian and a US Military veteran. Reverend Jeff Ivins may be a member of the Church of Satan, but his views are not representative of the Church of Satan or any other entity. And welcome to this episode of the Naked Satanist. I'm your host, Reverend Jeff Ivins. And before I get into that before I get into today's topic, I want to sit there and say that I've started another radio station for to honor my deceased husband, other half significant other, whatever you want to call them. It's Worley Radio W O R L E Y radio dot com. It's an eclectic mix of tunes that him and I both liked and then some that he didn't like and some that it that I didn't like. But other than that, we're going to go ahead and I want to discuss a little thing called jealousy versus Envy. This episode I want to discuss jealousy and envy as one leading to negative and the other can be used for positive effects. Jealousy and envy are quickly described in the Merriam Webster Dictionary as Depending on who you ask, jealousy and envy are either exact synonyms, total different words, or near synonyms with some degree of systematic overlap and some differences. It is difficult to make the case based on evidence of the usage that we have for either of the first two possibilities. Both jealousy and envy are often used to indicate a person's cousin of something that someone else has. But jealousy carries a particular sense of zealous vigilance and tends to be applied more excessively to feelings of protectiveness regarding one's own advantage or attachments. In the domain of romance, it is more commonly found than envy. If you were to say, your salt shaker collection fills me with jealousy, most people would take it to mean the same thing as your salt shaker collection fills me with envy. But if someone made a flirtatious comment to your partner, you would likely say that it caused you jealousy, not envy. So basically jealousy is in my book, something that leads to negative, negative feelings, hurt, pain, just whatever. And envy is something you can use for a positive effect of saying, you know, oh, I envy your salt shakers, meaning oh, I'd like to get some type of deal. So back to the my notes here. Get that scrolled up a little bit. From that point you can be envious of someone's statue or skill and driving yourself to do better than you are now, where jealousy just leads a person to getting heated and usually makes that person stammer off to something else using Me as an example. I love music in all forms, but not knowing how to play an instrument. I have two courses. One, being envious of somebody who cannot, who can and try to better myself to play or get jealous of that same person and not try to learn an instrument. I have a bass guitar. I am envious of the buddy who can play the guitar but just, just by listening to a song he can figure out how to play it. Whereas I need instruction to learn to play. I am not. I am jealous of my buddy. No, am I envious of being able to. Being able to. I do not feel jealousy towards him because of his due understanding where there's something I don't have the knack to do, but others do not. Just like my buddy is envious of my computer skills and how I'm able to make things work in Windows and Linux desktops. But he isn't jealous of it. Basically, like I said, he knows how to play the guitar and give him a song usually within, oh, give it 30 minutes. He has the, the majority of the song figured out in 30 minutes. So where me it's like, oh, this is F, F sharp, this is, you know, on the bass and stuff like that. I gotta think. And that's my biggest problem. I think too much. When it comes to computers, I'm no uber geek where I can just whip up a script or a program to do what I want. But I know I'm not the only one who thought of such things. I've learned where to get these programs with an eager determination. I've learned to make magic happen. I stick to my strong points and work to excel at them. Would this make someone jealous? Of course it would. But learning to deal with jealousy is just another example. How to deal with the green eyed hamster now we're getting into the thing Magnus Gilmour wrote in the Satanic scriptures about the green eyed hamster. It starts page 104 of the book Satanic Scriptures. This essay has stood out for me since I read the book back in 2010. Green Eyed Hamster starts out with envy but becomes jealous. It quickly becomes jealousy when he she thinks they have achieved status worth recognition of his or her superior. But it's not worthy of mention. So basically I use this back in 2010 tattoo artist where she felt like she was better at because she knew she was allowed to tattoo and that she was better than everybody else. But me being connoisseur body art, you know, if you know me, you know I got plenty of tattoos. I can sit there and pick out and find, you know, well, you forget you didn't get that one or that color doesn't really go that well with that. And you know, and even tattoo artists that had a longer experience tattooing are like, damn, he's, he can, he can see that. And I'm like, well, yeah, if it's going on my body, I want to make sure it looks good. Well, she had a, had a, she didn't last too long at that tattoo shop because of her attitude. So. But long story short, jealousy can lead to negative feelings towards someone and falling out of a friendship, whereas envy, you can still be friends and understand that you have different, different wiring where your skills are and explain and expand on those skills. So if you sit there now, I asked High Priest Gilmore if he had any update to it and he's like, no, but read that essay if you haven't already. It's a well written essay, as is all his essays. And actually give me a second here, I got it bookmarked. The Creative and this is a quote straight from the, from the essay Creative person who has become the focus or the victim of the hamster obsession. Hamster obsession may find that the admiration to be fine up until a point when the hamster begins to submit his own meager efforts in hopes that peer recognition may be forthcoming. The plight creator may perhaps make some non committal but positive comments suggesting that the hamster needs to put more work into his products. Brutal honesty is often avoided, which is a bad thing. Creative persons generally have abundance of energy and large outpouring of ideas. They have strong egos and think that perhaps the encouragement the hamster might finally begin to produce something of worth. Or they just might move on and find something more suited their limited abilities as a means of occupying his time. Green Eyed Hamster, like I said on 104 of satanic scriptures is a great article which leads me to the next subject that I'm going to get into. But we're going to get into that after a short break right here on the naked Satanist. [00:11:23] Speaker A: In 1966, Anton Lavey created the Church of Satan, marking the beginning of the Age of fire and Year One Anno Satanus. In 1969 he published the Satanic Bible, codifying Satanism as a religion. The first time it's been done in human history. [00:11:44] Speaker B: In the name of Satan, ruler of the Earth, King of Hell, come forth from the pit. Bestow the blessings of hell upon us. For we are your children and we invoke thee this night. [00:12:00] Speaker A: In 2001 I was appointed High Priest of the Church of Satan. In 2007, I published the Satanic Scriptures, further defining and expanding on Satanic philosophy and greater magic ritual. Hail Satan, full of might, our allegiance is with thee. Cursed are they the God adorers and cursed are the worshippers the Nazarene Eunuch. For the past 50 years, the church of Satan has stood as the sole organization to define and defend Satanism as a religion. And though pretenders to the infernal throne have come and gone, we have stood the test of time and will into the future. Visit churchofsatan.com for more information and read the Satanic Bible and the Satanic Scriptures. Knowledge is the solution for ignorance Hail Satan. [00:13:55] Speaker B: Satan Spleen Satanic Talk with Church of Satan Magister Bill M. Well, it's not. [00:14:00] Speaker A: Satan worship, it's Satanism. It's embracing the life enriching things which have traditionally been given the Devil's name. Pride, lust, earthly success, rational self interest, atheism, humor, non conformity science, a passion for living, being selective about home and love. We don't see these as shameful sins but empowering ideals. And we also recognize the psychological power and fun of symbolism and aesthetics. So we utilize Satan as mythology's most fitting mascot for what we're about. [00:14:30] Speaker B: Listen to Satan Splain. Learn [email protected] and welcome back. Just let you know that sometime in the near future I'm gonna be on Neutral Wisdom podcast talking about probably talking about loss because I lost my other half. So I'm gonna be doing that podcast here hopefully soon. Oh now why did I mention jealousy and envy before? Because they can be tied into Satanic Statement Number six. Now in the Satanic Bible, number six of the Satanic statements is set Satan represents responsibility for the responsible instead of concerns for the psychic vampires. With this chapter, Not All Vampires Suck Blood is the title of it. Dr. Lavey goes into detail over the statement. He details the situation where someone continues to ask for assistance without giving anything back for your service. They tend to make you feel indebted to them because of your skills and knowledge, but offer you nothing in return. Personally, I've experienced these Suckers in the wild several times each time. It seems innocuous at first, but over time they deploy the ploy ends up being the same. It's a gimme gimme mentality that always comes out in the end. I've fallen for. Have I fallen for them? At first, yes. But instead of continuing to let them suck me out of my creativity and desires, I move on until they can't feed off me anymore and they find someone some other victim to prey upon. When I was an act When I was active with the American Legion, I learned a bit about doing the back office work. Never asking anything in return since I was assisting my fellow veterans. As time went along, more and more vampires wanted me to do more and more things until I just had to back out of everything and they went on to other people who did a half assed job as I did. Did it make me feel bad? Slightly. But then after a bit I felt the weight of the Legion off my shoulders. Still today people ask me to help out with things and I continue to to say a hearty no. Now there are some things that I do do. I do send out their bulk email and I do a video wall, but I don't do it all. I do the video. I do short videos for them and upload them to a web server for somebody to download and then they update update it. Now this brings me to two groups that one of which I can really see as a as a psychic vampire. The actual group itself and the other one I just found out about. I just. I'll get into them in a little bit. I hate bringing up these idiots, but Kevin Solon's group is a prime example for me as psychic vampires. Let me explain a bit. Unlike the Church of Satan where you apply the fundamentals of the COs, you get something back. Plus the COs actually acknowledges you and your accomplishments. The New Kids on the Block run by Kevin Sulling and Doug Mesner are only out to take from their flock with nothing given back. It's almost like a Ponzi scheme. They praise you when you doing something for them. But as soon as you need something in return the appearance those to give would be they wouldn't care if you died. At least that's the impression I get. They require an NDA for several their positions and if you get on their bad side, they will try to sue you to keep you quiet. Sullan's group only does things for a communal herd or so is the game they play. They do not champion the individual. It's interesting that Messner plays the victim every time he's interviewed. Trying to get draw in more suckers in my book. And the blood which Mesner tries to suck is not colored red, but the color green. I hate bringing this group up, but they fit every damn thing that Satanism is not. They, they go for the herd mentality. Oh yeah, they put on get togethers now back, back in 2000, I can't remember what year was. It's been probably about six to 10 years when they had. When CNN had My Life as or something like a show like that or with Lisa Ling. And they followed and interviewed the idiots from Solings Group. And the thing I noticed is they didn't really get anything out of it because they were basically. I mean even the artwork, like I said, I'm, I'm, I'm a collector of body art. I like artwork. But there was a guy that had a snake in the, in a certain shape snake. Didn't really look like a snake, it just looked like something. But there is no. And. And he was selling it for. He was going to sell it for quite a bit of money or at least to try to. But they really didn't do anything. And the whole thing was set up for them to play as a victim, you know, oh well, we're gonna, we're gonna unveil this here. And this is. You had to go to one place to get verified. Then you, they whisked you off somewhere else where the actual event was happening because they had people outside protesting them. You're buying into the herd and they don't give you nothing. No recognition, no nothing. So but now that's not to say that they're the new kids in the block anymore. I've heard of a new group. A congregation is what they want to be called. Or of the other so called wannabe Satanist. I've checked them out online. They have the herd mindset and should be rejected as well. I've not heard of them. Champion the individual. But as a group of people who have taken a new atheistic point of view, I'll keep an eye on them and find out more of what they represent. Most of them are congregations and there's seven congregations already in the group. And each state or city may have a congregation. And what they do is they turn around and they're saying, well, we don't have any hierarchy. This is a group to share resources, share knowledge and let the congregations go as they seem or as they want to. So in a way that's a little bit of a difference from Kevin Sullin's group, which as you can tell, I don't sit there and mention their name, but it's still the same thing. It's still wanting the name of Satanism without actually using the defined context in which Anton Lavey has defined it in 1966. This is, it's just another, it's just another ruse in my book. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the people that had a falling out with Kevin Sauling's group started this. So like I said, I'll keep my eye on them and we'll see what happens from there. I'm not even gonna mention this group name because I'm just like more people. More people are sucking the lifeblood out of people. That's what it is. And I really don't care for. Well, like I said, psychic vampires come in all shapes, sizes, individuals and groups. Like I said to me, Kevin Sullivan's group is nothing more than a bunch of psychic vampires. And who knows about this new group? Now I know that Kevin Sowling and Doug Mesner require certain amount of money to make certain positions and their organization. You have to be able, as the last I heard, you have to pay when you get. When they advance you up the. Into the ranks. But as soon as you piss them off, they're gonna go ahead and sue you because you signed an NDA non disclosure agreement. Sounds like somebody else I know that's living off the fence, living off the off people. But enough of that. If you want to find out about me, go to the. I'm going to end off that episode. I'm going to end the episode off with that. Because it's just. I just get. Why don't these people know and support the true satanic organization? There is no denominations, no Satanism. So I wish these people would get over it either. Well, that new group is supposed to be non non theistic, but I don't care. I'm gonna end this episode off with another little announcement. Like I said, I got that radio station up and the latest edition of the Inferno Legion podcast I will be on when it goes live. I'll be doing that and I may show up a couple more. So but until then, make sure you keep those psychic vampires away. And the greatest weapon against one of them is the word no. And don't get jealous of somebody because they can do something, but get envious of them being able to do something and find out what your strengths and weaknesses are and emphasizes and emphasize your strengths. Because if you sit there and work on your weaknesses. Your strengths will certain will start to be a weakness. Have you ever thought of that? So until next time, I'll see you guys later.
